Red Lion Hotel Kalispell

Overall, I had a great stay at the Red Lion Hotel. While the price for one night felt a bit steep, that seems to be the norm in this area—likely due to its close proximity to Glacier National Park and other popular attractions like the nearby lakes. We arrived about 3 hours before check in and only had to wait about an hour for our room to be ready which was very nice. We figured we might not be able to check in early so the fact that they accommodate it with only a short wait was fantastic! The hotel had free WiFi throughout the building as well as a comfortable sitting area which helped us get some work done during our wait. The most important things were spot on: the bed was comfortable, the room was clean, and the bathroom was spacious and nicely updated. The carpet throughout the hotel could definitely use an upgrade, but considering the hotel was built in 1986, it’s holding up pretty well. What really made the stay worth it were the extra amenities. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were a great bonus after a long day of travel. The staff was also incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the free buffet-style breakfast was typical and satisfying. All in all, a solid stay with a few aging details, but the comfort, service, and amenities made up for it.

I must say, when I first got here we thought we were in The Shining, but we've been traveling for 12 days and so far, this has been my favorite hotel. We stayed in 2 separate occasions and the fabulous front desk advisor, Allie, could not have made us move welcome. She even gave us our same room because id previously mentioned how much I liked it. The beds are so comfortable I slept for 10 hours straight, which being a senior, is unheard of. I'd definitely recommend as a stop to Glacier NP.

We love staying here the breakfast is amazing and the service is amazing pools is awesome but the jets in the jacuzzi didn't work sadly

Great experience! Location was very convenient, staff helpful and pleasant and the rooms were well appointed with plenty of soaps, coffee and pillows. Breakfast in the atrium was very generous with lots of hot and cold options. Enjoyed our stay and would gladly come again!

She was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making guests feel at home. Whether it was helping with check-in, answering questions, or offering local recommendations, she handled everything with a level of care and attention that’s rare to find. Honestly, Allie is a standout employee and a true asset to The Red Lion. She deserves recognition—and a promotion! Her dedication to guest service is next level, and it really set the tone for my whole stay. Highly recommend this place, and huge thanks again to Allie for making my visit memorable!

We recently stayed here and was very impressed from Lefty picking us up at the airport on the shuttle and gave us great tips for places to eat and places to go. The breakfast gave us a great start each day. The pool and hot tub was well maintained and clean. Our room was great we overlooked the patio to see family and friends enjoying the fire pit and each other. I would love to stay again and would recommend to others. Thank you allgor a great stay. This property is a bit older and attached to a shopping mall. That might be good or bad situation depending on your thoughts on shopping. We were not bothered by either. We found the staff to be excellent and the breakfast offered more choices than your average hotel. Kalispell is a neat place to check out and this hotel provided a good overall value
